These are Ouch Moments….. when someone says something to you that feels like a band aid ripped off your arm or when you stub your toe….OUCH. Mine came when one of my patients said something to the effect, “I didn’t know chiropractic could help with that.” And the “that” was something so obviously related to the biomechanics of the spine and nerve system, that I yelled a huge OUCH in my head. Had a really failed to convey the message of chiropractic so poorly? OUCH I had.
So my mama taught me that you have to always have ‘someone to love, something to do and something to look forward to.’ We look forward to the weekend. We look forward to our next vacation. We look forward to the holidays. We look forward to when that loan is paid off. We look forward to when our kids are out of diapers. We look forward to our first grandchild. We look forward to retirement. We look forward to not having to do twenty loads of laundry each week. We look forward to Dancing with the Stars on Monday night. Geez there’s always something to look forward to.

In other words, it’ll come from YOU and your tax dollars. And where will that money spent? Well hospitals, doctor’s visits and prescription medicine will eat up most of the money.
