Ingredients![bell peppers](https://westfunctionalchiropractic.com/wp-content/uploads/bell-peppers.jpg)
- 4 medium bell peppers any color
- 1 pound ground sausage sugar and nitrate free (can substitute with beef or other meat of your choice)
- 2 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1 medium zucchini shredded
- 1 small onion diced
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 teaspoon parsley chopped
- 1 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Brown sausage with onion and garlic. Once browned and onions are translucent, add in the zucchini and cook for a few minutes. Stir in nutritional yeast, parsley, tomato sauce, and bring to a boil.Cut the top off the bell peppers, scoop out and remove the seeds. Fill each pepper with ground meat mixture. Place in the oven at 375 for 20-25 minutes or until you get the desired texture of the peppers.
