• 2 cups raw cashews
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 ½ cups water
  • ¾ tsp paprika
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 3 tsp sea salt
  • 1 seven ounce jar pimientos (do not drain)
  • 1 cup nutritional yeast


Soak raw cashews overnight and then rinse.  Pour 2 ½ cups of the water into a blender and add all the ingredients and blend until smooth.  Pour blended mixture into a saucepan and add remaining water.  Heat for about 20 minutes stirring continually to prevent burning.  You can add more or less water until it reaches your desired consistency.  This is similar to nacho cheese so you can feel free to add meat or veggies to it depending on how you plan on using it.  Enjoy!
